Meet Spencer

Spencer Butler is the founder and principal designer behind Elizabeth Spencer Designs. A North Carolina native now based in Nashville, Spencer received her degree in Interior Design from The University of Alabama before honing her skills under nationally recognized designers in Dallas and Nashville. With eight years of hands-on experience, she followed her heart and founded Elizabeth Spencer Designs in 2025.

Her work is rooted in classic design, layered with color, pattern, antiques, and playful details that make a home feel collected, personal, and deeply livable.

Outside of design, Spencer can usually be found spending time with family and friends, working in the garden, or, more recently, learning her way around the game of mahjong.
